Our Mission
The Mission of St. Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Church is to proclaim the Good News of Salvation through the Orthodox Christian Faith for the glory of our Triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We are a loving community of believers who journey towards our Lord Jesus Christ through our:

We invite all people to join us on this journey towards the Kingdom of Heaven.
Our Faith and Community
Through this Mission Statement, we express who we are as a Church and how we strive to live our calling as the Body of Christ. We hope our website introduces you to our ancient Orthodox Christian Faith, offers opportunities to deepen your understanding, and helps you get to know our beloved parish family.
Whether you are visiting for the first time, new to our Parish, or considering becoming a member, we warmly welcome you to join us and discover more about our faith and community.
Our primary role and mission is religious ministry: keeping, preserving, and proclaiming the Word of God and the good news of human salvation and eternal life.
Our Serbian Heritage
As a Serbian Orthodox parish, we also serve the Australian Serbian community, helping preserve our language, history, culture and traditions while being an active part of Australia's wider multicultural community. In this spirit, our Parish offers weekly classes for school-age children in the Serbian language, traditional folk song and dance, together with Scripture classes. We also occasionally organise social events for the wider Serbian community.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you always!
