Lazarica Youth Fellowship
Lazarica Youth Fellowship (LYF) was established in May 2023 with the support of Prota Miodrag, bringing together Orthodox young adults aged 18–30 in faith and friendship.
From its beginnings with around 20 members, LYF has grown into a welcoming community of approximately 100 young adults from Lazarica and Orthodox parishes across Sydney, offering a supportive environment to deepen their faith, build lasting friendships and share in the life of the Church.

Gatherings & Activities

LYF hosts monthly gatherings at Lazarica featuring spiritual talks, Bible studies, and open discussions. These provide opportunities to explore the Orthodox faith, ask questions, share experiences, and learn from one another in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Beyond its regular meetings, the fellowship organises monastery visits, social outings, dinners and other activities that bring members together and strengthen friendships.
LYF also collaborates with other Orthodox youth groups across Sydney, participating in joint gatherings, cultural events and community service projects, helping build lasting connections across the wider Orthodox community.
